Dale Jamieson Gives World Philosophy Day Lecture on Loving Nature
NC State’s third World Philosophy Day Lecture was given on Thursday, November 16. The speaker was Dale Jamieson, professor of philosophy and environmental studies at New York University, who spoke on “Loving Nature.”

New Faculty in Philosophy
Two scholars joined NC State’s philosophy faculty this semester: Stephen C. Ferguson II, who specializes in Africana philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of race and philosophy of sport, and Kevin Richardson, who specializes in metaphysics, philosophy of language and pragmatism.
